Ligusticum chuanxiong is a traditional Chinese medicine, also known as Xichuanxiong and Dachuanxiong. Chuanxiong Angelica Stewed Egg

Ingredients: 10 grams of Chuanxiong, 10 grams of Chinese angelica, 10 grams of Astragalus, 10 grams of Codonopsis pilosula, 1 egg, 1/3 piece of donkey-hide gelatin, Ligusticum Chuanxiong, Angelica sinensis, Astragalus, and Codonopsis pilosula.

Method: Put the kitchen gauze bag and the raw eggs in the shell into the pot, add two bowls of water, and simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes. Take out the hard-boiled eggs, remove the eggshells and return them to the pot, then add the prepared donkey hide gelatin and continue to cook for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat when the gelatin is completely melted and the soup thickens.

Contraindications:

1. People with yin deficiency and excessive fire, menorrhagia, bleeding disorders and pregnant women should take it with caution.

2. Ligusticum Chuanxiong cannot be used alone. It must be used in conjunction with Qi-tonifying and blood-tonifying medicines. In addition, Ligusticum Chuanxiong cannot be taken for a long time.
